Review Calf Crop Reports for individual herds
     

Note: If you print the herd report using your browser, some critical
data on the right side of your report will be lost if you use portrait mode. If you
print the report in landscape mode, all material should print but the page
breaks will not occur at convenient locations. The following instructions
are a bit awkward but can produce a good quality printout of your herd report.
Instructions for formatting herd reports for printing:
1) Obtain a copy of the calf crop report for your herd.
a) Locate your herd with a web browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer).
b) Save a copy of the file to your floppy disk drive by using the File,
Save As menu option.
2) Load the file from the first step into Microsoft Word or WordPad. Warning,
Notepad does not have the features needed to produce a nicely formatted output!
a) Start WordPad or Microsoft Word (ie. Start, Programs,
Accessories, WordPad).
b) Use File, Open menu option to load file that you saved in step 1.
3) Change the font size to 9 points.
a) Use the Edit, Select All menu option.
b) Use the Format, Font menu option to change font size to 9 points.
4) Set page margins
a) Use the File, Page Setup menu option.
b) Set both the left and right margins to .5 inches.
5) Print File
a) Use the File, Print Preview to confirm that the format changes above
will produce a desireable format for your herd.
b) Use File, Print to print your output.
